And Luthien finally got her new eyes and wig.

So after many many months of waiting Georgiana finally arrived on Thursday but since I had to go out of town on Friday and Saturday I just now got to really play with her. So here is her first photoshoot.

So I decided to repaint Tsuno. I was never really happy with his original paint job and now that I've learned more about the airbrush and am no longer using my Aunt's 30 yr old single action airbrush I decided to give it a whirl. Still not completely satisfied but we're getting there.

Now that souldoll has finally released actual pictures of the centuar doll I have some thoughts. I have to say I think the ASPCA would have something to say about the horse parts weight. It looks a little bit anorexic. It looks cool but at the same time I can't get over how silly the whole thing seems. They seem to have done a good job with the jointing but I think the grey skin is out of place. And that ends my thoughts.

So I originally took these pictures of Plum for her profile but then I changed her eye color so they weren't exactly accurate anymore. I still liked them though so I went through and edited them.

So my tinies Eros the Puki Cupid and Tsuno the Dong-E Tin Man finally got their own little joint photoshoot. I've decided that they don't count towards my overall doll total because they're so small.

So Thanksgiving is one of those bad holidays where it gives me way too much time to sit around on my ass and think up random nonsense. So today's random nonsense was actually doll related. I found myself wondering as I waited for it to be dinner time, how hard would it be to create an actual physical Ball Jointed Doll magazine? Not an online one but an actual magazine. I mean I was in the local toy store the other day and they had about 15 different doll magazines most of which had single articles on Ball Jointed dolls so why isn't there one in America just for BJDs? Or have I seriously missed something...Either one is possible and a good nights sleep will probably make me forget that I even thought about this.

So I was taking profile pictures the other day for my dolls as I work on writing up my photos and I had the sudden urge to take this picture. Sebastianne has always been somewhat grumpy about being stuck in what he calls the harem and is even less pleased that apparently my idea of another man in the dollhouse is my Puki Cupid, Eros.

I took these photos of Plum months ago and then apparently lost track of them. Well they resurfaced on my external harddrive while I was tidying up my photos and I felt like sharing.

So, I told myself I was going to wait awhile for my next doll. I just got two new dolls and I have a Flowne on the way, eventually, so no more dolls. But then those people at Fairyland and the good people in Hollywood/the BBC conspired against me. I went and I saw the Duchess which was an amazing costume drama, screw plot, it was great just to see all the outfits they wore. Then I checked out Fairyland's new Little Fee's and low and behold there was a Marie Antoinette like one. I just about died and I kind of have to have one and make it little Georgian era costumes. So yeah I'm definitely getting one. I'm weak and I don't really feel bad about it.

So my Puki Puki Fullset Cupid showed up today and well I had to take pictures. He got his own special paper back drop in my makeshift doll studio because he's so pale I was worried that on the white he wouldn't be visible. I named him Eros just because.

You know after a year and a half(?), a year, of having Wren I've decided we just can't bond. I always wanted a Yoko but now that I've had her I've never really been able to do anything with her. So sadly she will departing us hopefully soon, I need to find a buyer. A sad day but at the same time her leaving is good because it means I'll get a little bit more room for other dolls. Like the Puki Cupid who's coming at some point, oh Fairyland and their 40 day waiting period.

My little Tin Man arrived today. So adorable there really aren't words. My Dad found some though, "This is a 200 dollar item?" much disbelief and derision was evident in his voice. Whatever. He also came in a cute little round box decorated with hearts. Now all I have to do is wait for my MSC to show up so I can paint him.

DollIt has to be single handedly the most amazing doll company ever. I order my Dong-E E-Set on Thursday and they shipped it this morning. Blows my mind. Apparently the doll fates are with me because Volks in LA also had Mr. Super Clear for sale.

So this is my Chinatsu's first official photoshoot and she looks super cute. Maeve makes a quick guest appearance since they have matching outfits.

So the kids all got new wigs from Leekeworld. I hope Plum's new outfit arrives soon so I can snap pictures with her new amazingingly ridiculous wig. And all I can think when I see Sebastianne's wig is -JPOP!

Sebastianne got a new face-up. His head spent little over a month traveling between here and China to get it all done. He looks so much better though. Behold his loveliness. I need to make new icons for him...
